The campaign raised awareness about two essential pillars of health: the prevention of skin cancer and the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other STIs — different themes, but with one thing in common: information and care save lives.
During DDS, we highlight the importance of protection against sun exposure, reinforcing the correct use and reapplication of sunscreen, in addition to the use of a cap, hat and clothing suitable for those who work exposed to the sun. We also emphasize the need to maintain constant hydration, with frequent water intake, even without feeling thirsty.
At the same moment, we address the forms of HIV transmission, the importance of using a condom, not sharing syringes and carrying out early diagnosis, reinforcing that prevention is an act of responsibility towards oneself and others.
The action showed that, whether in protecting the skin or preventing STIs, awareness is the main tool to preserve health, employee safety and quality of life.
